Severed God Limbs
by Busdriver
, , , avant mad, sheer cosmic poetry

Nina Gnose says: The Sex Pistols, in their attempt to destroy rock and roll, inadvertently helped to save it. Certain hip hop artists today are confronting the gestures that threaten to render the genre impotent and predictable. Busdriver is one such innovator. He turns hip hop jargon upside down and breathes life into a field that has become mired in cliche after self-aggrandizing cliche. This is challenging, brilliant work, and it is our MP3 Jackpot Winner today.
