Reactance (studio version)
by Jeanne Geiger
, Big Band

eye_present says: Din, when you sent me this, i dug the track, but i didn't expect it to embed itself in my memory and pop up randomly while i'm on the subway, in line at the store, driving, just anywhere. pop songs do that, big funky hooks do that. this is a jazz piece, big band stuff. so when the swelling horn section on Jeanne Geiger's "Reactance" permeates my vision and envelops my mind, creating the soundtrack to my day, i am surprised. i stopped and whispered to myself, "what is this piece?" before it came to me. without a doubt, this is our mp3 jackpot winner for today.
