2080
by Yeasayer

Nina Gnose says: Are you kidding me? This track by Yeasayer hasn't won the MP3 Jackpot yet? These Brooklyn neighbors of mine have their collective fingers on the psych rock zeitgeist. With a topic sentence like, "I've been asleep when I think about the times we're living in... I've been asleep when I think about the future I was born into," the song "2080" might as well be titled 2008. This is breathtakingly beautiful music.
